Summer in Bulgaria Brian Sumpton, our regular contact and volunteer for the Roman Orphanage in Bulgaria has again visited the home and joined the children on a summer camp.'Poetic Hours' has sent £200 with him to spend on the children during that time and you can read his account here. august 2007 |
Christmas Donations 2007 |
We made our usual visit to Family Care this year to drop off a massive 281 selection boxes - the most we've ever sent. Wilkinson's, the suppliers, chipped in with a discount so we could get more. In addition, the charity had asked for college equipment for older children so we took some pens, pencils and the like along with the usual make-up etc. We didn't get many pictures this time because it was slinging it down with rain and we got there later than normal so you'll just have to imagine the scene ! We did get some of the selection boxes being loaded up though ! |
